that matter when you buy outdoor equipment: how you feel when you
buy it and how you feel when you use it.
We are 100% DEDICATED to

That's right! We love spending time in the outdoors
having fun adventures, and always wondering what's over that next
ridge. And we're always looking for cool new gear that might add
to the experience. But remember it's the experience,
not just the gear, that matters in the end.
We
here at Mountains Plus alpine ski, telemark, cross-country, snowboard,
mountain bike, kayak, hike, camp and just about anything else that
gets us out of the office and breathing fresh clean air. Just like
you, we don't want to max out our credit cards and empty our wallets
to buy all the tools to take part in our favorite outdoor adventures.
On the other hand, duct tape can only go so far!
In 1995 we formed Mountains Plus with the determination
to find the best and newest outdoor products and to provide outstanding,
personalized service to our customers. We know we were not the first
company to start selling outdoor products on the internet (however,
there's a good chance we were the second) but we may very well be
the oldest and the most experienced.
Unlike the many companies that have come and gone
we don't believe that our customers want to 'fire and forget' an
order and hope that, someday, it appears on their front porch. Rather,
we recognize that buying something like a backpack, sleeping bag
or a mountain bike can be an incredibily personal and demanding
decision. Therefore, we're here
for you every step of the way.
This means that you will often end up talking or corresponding
with an actual human being. We don't have large call centers or
live online support staffed with people who can help you with the
website and the fluff surrounding it. Instead,
we have a small, dedicated team who can help you with the products
and answer questions about fit, sizing, use etc.
so that, in the end you are truly able to enjoy the products
you buy. We may not have the largest selection, the coolest
web site, or the cheapest prices but our team will bend over backwards
to make sure that you receive the service you deserve.
We offer reputable products and respected brand names
like Camelbak, Kelty, Life-Link, Dana Design, Princeton Tec, Big
Agnes, BearVault, Brunton, Suunto, St. Moritz, and Crescent Moon
while continuing to search the globe for new and innovative toys
for outdoor fun. We recommend the stuff that WE actually use and
the products that WE would actually enjoy. In other words, we don't
just hock the "latest and greatest" trendy products Instead, we
have hardcore outdoor folks who pony up their expertise to find
gear that really matters...not fluff! So... please feel free to look around. If you don't
