The AdvancedFrame kayak, by Advanced Elements, is an excellent high performance inflatable ocean kayak. Designed as a hybrid between a folding frame kayak and an inflatable kayak, the AdvancedFrame sets up within minutes. The bow cuts through the water like a hot knife through jello and rivals the trackability of hard-shell kayaks and the skeg tracking fin, increases performance. Designed with plenty of on-board storage room for extended trips and 3 layers of material for durability, this lightweight kayak is perfect for the solo paddler.

Affordable, comfortable and very good for flatwater!

I needed a very portable kayak that I could transport myself without having to tie it to the top of my roof rack, and this particular inflatable seemed to get great reviews. So far, I have not been dissapointed and LOVE this kayak. I actually think it cuts through the water better than most hard shells I've tried. Blowing it up only takes about 10-20 mins MAX and that was the first time so I'm sure it will take less as I get used to it. Once blown up it is strong and sturdy and you wouldn't even know it was an inflatable if you saw it on the water. An added bonus: the inflatable floor is sturdy but gives the sensation that you are floating right on the water, and it is very comfortable!
