Luggage for walking in the rain.

Operates like typical wheeled luggage. Has plastic handle that extends out 11-inches for pulling or retracts back. The nylon fabric is coated with a rubbery waterproof coating. I researched the 420D Nylon fabric online. It is considered medium weight. The higher the number the stronger the nylon. Many weekend backpacks are 220 or 320 lightweight Nylon. Heavy-duty backpacks are 520 or 620 Nylon. So this 420 fabric is in the middle. However, a duffle bag this size would normally be 620 or 820 Nylon without the coating. It appears the rubber coating increases the strength rating. A "Sea to Summit" brand dry-bag is this 420 nylon. So, the fabric is satisfactory, but not heavy-duty. The solid rubber wheels are 4-inches in diameter. The bag folds almost flat to 6-inches high when empty. The zippers have a storm flap covering them. The bag is not submersible; it does not hold water, but the fabric is waterproof against a shower. Does not stand upright by itself, but then the bag would have to be heavier to do so. On the lighter end of wheeled luggage. One inner-pocket 8 x 10 inches. Bag zips up one end, across the top, and down the other end to open wide for easy loading. Compression-straps prevent side-bulging, but are located on top so do not compact downward; however fabric is stiff. 3 grab handles, either end and top. One outer, side pocket 25x6-inches. Backpack straps tuck into long sleeves. Plastic bottom with plastic skid rails on bottom. My bag has not been tested by airport baggage handlers yet; so it has not yet been thrown from the plane onto the concrete like they do, so I cannot speak to durability yet. So far it looks promising.
